晚枫原创英文诗歌3首 Nature and I
Morning greens subtly rustle In frost, dry leaves in wind fizzle In this mixed noisy silence Further in the time than the night The only one absolute absence I need the sound for its assistance To erase the forgettable remembrance The arid browny emptiness Fills up roads ‘n hangs on poles The sore and happiness Fresh dew feeds the deadness In mist comes the clear vagueness In the mere mutual balance Adjusting keys of majors and minors The soft melodic parlance I need the fair prudence To enclose this narrow distance The bosom peer harmony Plays the tune of blue in Danube The accord notes and symphony The sun brightens the autumn chilly In mercilessness sheds its light heavy In my sheer ladylike grace Exerting the plough ‘n more of my all The perseverance but to embrace I need a writer’s phrases To toss away the decrying praises The untold reverence crescendo Embed in prelude somehow perdue The flow from violin to cello The moon remains as a solo In dark tears its substantial hollow In brutal becomes disrepair Beyond the tools and the sooth The violence grays my hair (Oct. 2006) Black Red or White
How long a rough road That wanders and wriggles When dimmed with dusk How short a glitzy glow That flashes and dashes When hugged with husk Can the road be stretched To and beyond boundary With no darkness compiled Can the glitz be unquenched In and outside its aureola With angels’ songs undefiled Trudging on my unchangeable treads Trekking all my shreds Black, red or white A smile spreads (March 4, 2008) Clumsy Lines for V-Day
If my lines are dull and out of rhythms, And words are insipid and out of shape; For a special occasion like this, Forgive me and allow a shy escape. All plots shot in one take now to retrace, Twilight of the fall barely saw Your figure and familiar face, In a touchable space the seasons draw. Sparrows uttered some sweet back home mutters, And pigeons cuckooed some fine supper coos. “It’s late in fall, my darling gigglers, Winter won’t bring you food or brews.” A lasting moment long exiled? Has it been a long while? Recounting the cliché I’m like a child Before it’s hid at the end of time aisle. (Feb 14 2011)
