礁石
沉没的时候
是平静的
就如同它曾经面对着海洋
含着微笑

礁石
消失的时候
那时辰
正是它歌唱过的
无比温柔的黎明

礁石
是一种象徵
是一种生命的符号
在它的身上
风暴留下过无数的
让人哀痛的创伤

礁石
它永远也不会死去
因为它那自由的呼吸
会激起汹涌的海浪
它还会像一只鸟
从人类的梦想中飞出
用已经嘶哑了的喉咙歌唱！

The reef
seemed so calm
when it was sinking
just as facing the sea
smiling

The moment
when the reef disappeared
was just the tender dawn
of which
the reef sang in praise

The reef
is an emblem
is a symbol of life
It is covered
with countless grievous wounds
of windstorms

The reef
will never die
because its free breath
can arouse a fountain of spray
and it will fly out of mankind’s dream
like a bird
singing in a hoarse voice!
