白帝几回约，何日到夔州。当年烟幕丝雨，曾洗谪仙愁。弹却浣花春色，吟过草堂秋兴，孤对大江流。不见先贤影，独自上高楼。

水连天，云一片，月当头。诗城如画，峡嶂叠叠水悠悠。应羡平湖舒韵，还许连峰为句，相与共清讴。圆梦真堪醉，千载寄心眸。

Many times Whitegod has asked me:

When could I come back to Kuichow?
The mist and fine drizzle in those years
Did wash off Exiled Fairy’s woe.
I plucked the Washer’s blooms and spring glow
Chanted Thatched Cottage’s autumn hue,
And alone saw the River flow.
The saints and sages are all gone,
The tower alone, upstairs I go.

Water with the sky, a thin cloud on high, the moon is aglow
The poetic town’s cool;
Gorges and peaks are layered, water on the go.
Lake Flat’s fluctuating rhyme I woo;
The peaks upon peaks are verses true;
Together we sing to the blue.
What an intoxicating dream!
My heart sees a thousand years through.
